Antique Ovals

These earrings feature a texture I made from my great-grandmothers antique butter dish. These earrings are crafted in bronze metal clay, and contrast is added with oil paint.  They are light weight - 2.5g each.

Earwires are 14K gold-filled, and the wire thickness is 22 gauge.  Gold-filled items are a higher quality then plated.  It is a thick veneer of gold on a base metal, so it is very durable and will not wear off like gold plate.
